it's been awhile since I posted on this discussion board, so I'll do my best to answer your question from my perspective.

The Law of Attraction is a beautiful thing, but mentally picturing is just one part of the key. Remember, Mr. Ray's 3 for 3 approach. Thoughts, Feelings, and Actions. Thoughts are just one part of the equation, but you need the appropriate action and feelings to go with them. I'm just like all of you all, vision board completely filled up, but it's always filled. When one thing i put up I get, I put up another picture immediately to keep my juices and drive going.

When I first started reading any motivational and spiritual books, I cleared off a table, put a pen and paper down, and started writing like crazy what I wanted out of my life. After that, I took another sheet of paper and did a map of what I needed to do to get to where I want to be. Let's all keep in mind that at first, it feels all overwhelming, because you have either a big picture of what you want out of your life, you have a big map, or a combination of both. But you have to keep having faith and work towards your goals NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE!

Trust me, during your voyage / trip to what you deem is "success", you will have people that will hate on you for going after your dreams. The people that are hating on you just feel inferior, and that's how they react. Nothing is out of reach, but if people actually believed that life had limits, the greats of our time wouldn't have been so great, wouldn't they?

Answer:  I'd change my ideas.

Response:  This is an interesting idea, Linda, that "homes are over-inflated & taxes very high" in your area.  Interesting...and kinda yucky.   Have you ever been curious about where you got these ideas from?  Media, maybe?  Studying the Real Estate market, perhaps?   Those aren't very good sources for ideas, in my opinion.

I'd advise you to get curious, and ask yourself this question:  "What would I have to believe in order to accept that Homes Are Over Inflated in my area?"

And,

"What belief would make me feel better?"  (How about, "A lot of homes in my area are over-inflated, but MY HOME is is priced just right for me.")   If you could believe that----and it's entirely your choice!---then you could start looking for YOUR HOME---the one that is priced just right for you.

How about believing this:  Really Rich people don't have to worry about Inflation & High Taxes.   You are on the brink of becoming a Very Rich Person.   Wouldn't that be more fun than believing that the inflation & taxes MUST stop you from getting what you want?

I dunno about you, but the reason I am studying Harmonic Wealth is because I WANT THAT!  I believe that being more Harmonically Wealthy is going to make my life much more fun & easy.

I've been mentally picturing for a years now with no results." 

My Question for you: Are you SURE you've had no results?   It seems to me that you are a whole year closer to getting what you want.  This year, you've begun learning about Harmonic Wealth.  THIS will get you closer!  You ARE in the process!

Elaine, thank your fantastic feedback. 

Linda, it's just a matter of time and you will walk into your house. Use this time to increase your home downpayment savings, get your financial house ready, create ways to be more wealthy in all areas. Keep looking at homes online and go to open houses. Treat your new home beautifully and express gratitude for it and so your next own house will be yours.

I also stopped talking about how bad is the economy or gas prices, instead I'm thinking of ways to creating more money since that's the best way to help the economy I believe.
