Wealthy people, and I mean people who are truly wealthy in all areas, don't allow others to determine the quality of their lives. They never allow circumstances or others to determine how much income they earn or their level of harmony with regard to their spiritual life, their health, their relationships--anything.
If your intention is big enough, then you must grow to meet the size of that idea. Similarly, if you have an idea that doesn't cause you to grow, it isn't the right idea. In other words, the right intention and the right desire have to make you stretch.
Growing is an inside job. Once you begin to go inside--involution--and grow, your results on the outside--evolution--must happen. Going within leads you to take different actions; your goal begins to take form and ultimately becomes a result in your life.
"What's next?" happens, doesn't it? The basic principle of life, of spirit, is fuller expression and expansion. Your results become the springboard for fuller expression, which then brings grander, more exciting ideas and goals into view. Are you with me?
Once you get that next idea or desire--the intention--you again have to grow to meet the size of that new idea, so involution kicks in all over again. New actions begin to happen and your new bigger idea starts coming into form. You get new results, and so on. This is really simple, but its how the creative process works: inside out, involution always preceding evolution.
You had an idea, a desire, and you had to grow to reach it. Perhaps it was when you got your first car loan or first home mortgage.
Now, if that payment was a stretch for you, you had to expand your vision of yourself, didn't you? You had to see yourself being able to reach for more than you had been accessing. You had to realign your possibilities to meet the size of the idea.
What you need isn't more money but more growth. We all do.

i am continually astounded by your wisdom James and continually strive towards a positive mindset, but this can be difficult when surrounded by negative minds,.any tips.?.also is it best to keep your ideas to yourself?as others always have thier slant on it and thier best advice!! which is always not inline with your ideas and dreams..regards TONY FROM SCOTLAND

I'm all for containment. It's a whole new thing with me and it works. Just stay focused on who you are and what you want, then do what you've got to do to. My problem people seem to go on holidays or have something to do exactly when I need to get down to business. It's pretty groovy. The phrase, "Mind your own business.", can be applied to ourselves, too.
best wishes

I have found that the best way is to just continue to model my great attitude when around negative people...I don't have to be in their face tellilng them I am postive/growing/heading to a great new dream, just model it. If I already know that someone tends to respond negatively to any positive conversation, I just don't get into conversation. At a recent business training for my business the trainer (a young successful man in my business) was encouraging us to fill our minds with the advice of successful people rather than "listening to your broke neighbor".
Wishing you all joy, peace, love and laughter,
Donna

I have always been a fan of Dr. Wayne Dyer's work, but once I got familiar with James Ray, and especially his latest book, Harmonic Wealth, I really appreciated his fresh and new approach to wealth. I like the fact that it's OK to be successful and enjoy material things, as long as you do so with the right mindset and attitude...

I have traveled the globe studying the thoughts, actions and habits of those who create true wealth in every area of life. You name it, if it affected success or showed any of the five kinds of wealth--financial, relational, mental, physical and spiritual--I studied it.
Here's your chance to ask me your most burning question, ranging from the physical to the spiritual and everything in between. Literally anything goes!
