Outstanding Book!

James,

I bought and read your book Harmonic Wealth, and must say that it really brought so many things into prospective for me.  I have been having so many thoughts of wondering is this what life is all about?  I guess it must be a chance to look and see where life has taken me.  I turned 50 years old last September, and started taking a look at where my life has taken me, through so many experiences and through each I know that I have grown, but have I grown in a direction that I want to go in?  I was married at the young age of 17, and have been married for 33 years, so never really got the chance to explore all that life has to offer.  My husband has always been a very negative person, always made me feel as though all there is to life is work, eat and sleep.  He has never made me feel appreciated, and loved, always made me feel ugly so really gave my self esteem a jolt.  After reading your book, and The Secret I have found so much confidence in myself, I can truly see the beauty that is inside of me, no matter what anyone else thinks.  I have vowed to not let others get me down, it is hard to live in a house where everything is negative, I am such a positive person and have found that I am always trying to convince everyone to try and live a positive life, and they will get positive results.  I have even posted quotes at work for all the girls to read daily, and my boss's wife is all for anything that will pull these women out of their negative way of thinking.  I got the quotes out of The Secret and gave credit to each and every person making the quote.

As far as Luck, I too believe if you give you receive, each and everytime I have given of myself be it money or just a listening ear to help someone in need I recieve in ten fold.  This has happened so many times, one time a young man ran out of gas at my work place parking lot, he lost his wallet and didn't have the money to get home which was in Sacramento, CA. (50 miles away)  I took it upon myself to help this young man and gave him $40.00 for gas and something to eat, he offered to pay me, and I refused, I just told him to have a safe trip home.  He then looked at me and asked, "How can you give a total stranger off the street money, and not expect anything in return?"  I told him that I had a son, and hoped to God that if he was ever in that situation he'd get the same compassion from someone else.  When I got back to work after helping him to the gas station, every single employee questioned me, and of course told me that the young man was just using me for the money.  Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't it doesn't really matter now does it?  All I know is I felt it was the right thing to do.  A month later I went to an Indian Casino and won $2000.00 so see, I got the money back, and so much more!  So now who's to say it was just luck?  I feel I done something wonderful for this young man, and if they can't see it that way, so be it.  I done what I thought was right and felt good about it.

So see it doesn't have to do with Luck at all, just give a little and you will get back, trust me it works!

Hi James, what a great tool.  Sheri, I loved your story.  I have been building my library over the years and prefer it to a library vs a television set.   While it is true that I read many things I have seen before in one way or another, you has a refreshing way of stating things with a twist of humor and the technical scientific angle, and "wake up dummy!' frankness about it.  I love it!  The only hesitation is choosing among the many methods you outline.  All of them are great; I have used vision boards and still have my vision book, which I will now re-integrate with new matarial.  I have done the "I am so happy and grateful" part, and have written down a storybook of what my new living space and life looks like.  Time to really refine it and pay more attention to my intention to it. 

So far, two of the key things for me lie in the wisdom of chapter Seven on page 82, paragraph 3 and Nine, namely right on the first page.  The bells went off when I read about how the Universe loves speed.  This described me perfectly, a highly creative person attempting to succeed each day in something that has no creativity whatsoever.  Need I say my moods can fluctuate and carry over into my physical and mental states at times.   

I am learning to turn my feelings around, as I already know that like attracts like in the seen and unseen world.  I am now more aware of the potential for sabatoge and will need to work harder to exist in both worlds for a while longer.  The time is nearing that I may fly away to a new world based on what I was put here to do. 

I know my true puropose...that is not the question.  The question is more like how can I move towards it faster?  I also rediscovered nothing is perfect; this tripped me up for most of my life always wanting perfection and waiting until all circumstances were just right to make a move. 

Some of the new things so far are learning about anti-intention.  I never heard this before, but have exposed to the concept of one can't focus on the desire for something and the lack of that something at the same time.  Further, desire is not born out of wanting or lack...it is a delicious state of being and feeling what makes you truly tick. 

The anti ihtention is important for me, because at times I never think about what comes with new levels of success.  Being prepared takes the shock out of it.  It makes good sense. I am about to start chapter 10 and I am really looking forward to it.  Talk to you soon.

Sheri, I loved hearing your story and it made me think of something I recently experienced. I read the book The Secret as soon as I heard about it and connected with a few of the people in it via internet afterwards, so much inspiration! A few months later my brother gifted me with the movie,The Secret. I watched it a couple of times ,no big deal. This past April I began really getting into learning about Quantum Physics and anything connected. I decided to go back through the book and watch the movie The Secret again. I could not find the movie here anywhere. Well,I am not as fanatical as I used to be around here but I still know where I store my stuff. I am not the kind of person that loses things and my things have a place. My daughter and I turned this place upside down. I had also rearranged the furniture once since this,nothing. I finally confessed to my brother I lost the movie ,somehow. He didn't believe me.He has lived with me before and knows how orderly I like to stay. Well, went down to visit my brother a couple of weeks ago, he lives about 15 hours away. I had not visited this town in about 9or 10 years, I used to live there too. My family spent time there every winter growing up on top of that. This was not an unfamiliar place to me. The first morning I got up early and drove over to the ocean alone  and meditated and prayed. I have to say it was a life chaging experience for me and one I didn't see coming,I am almost fifty myself. The next week back home I was doing a lot of praying trying to come to terms with all of this in some way. My daughter reaches over and picks up the movie The Secret, right there ,almost in plain view. I immediately called  my brother only to hear him hummm the Twilight Zone theme in my ear,ha ha. I waited till I could sit down and watch this movie  in silence and alone. I again had such a intense feeling wash over me that it brought tears to my eyes. I heard and felt  things I didn't pick up on  before. I had a new appreciation for what I was seeing. Was it only now that I could fully understand another gift being given? I take gifts in a very serious way with so much gratitude though. A handful of people in this movie had so much more meaning to me now too. I am not quite sure if there is any real meaning to this but I am so grateful for the spiritual feeling I received watching it....three times in a row!   Peace always!
