I am just confused on the goal for each day. Am I supposed to pick one intention each day to work on? Or am I supposed to use my overall vision as my goal? Any thoughts would be great!
Thanks!

The "Critical Six" is what you use to achieve your goals. The best way I can describe it is as "the little steps towards achieving what you want out of life". Think about it for a second. Let's say your goal is to have a million dollars. Granted, we can focus on it all we want, and that's great. But without any action behind that focus, the focus becomes a waste. There are possibilities out there that you can probably get a million dollar overnight, but from my studies of wealth, that's not a surefire way that you will maintain that money and wealth.
So the critical six is designed to be used in conjunction with your goals. So, using my example, let's say I want to make a million dollars in a year. What would it take? So a critical six would look like,
1) Read books on investing
2) Ask any of my friends if they know anything about investing and learn from them
3) Call brokerage houses to find out how much it would take to start an account
4) Analyze my net worth to see where I need to go
something like that, but don't limit yourself to just financial spread it out. My typical six looks something like this,
1) Analyze the stock market and look for any investment opportunities
2) Exercise for at least 30 minutes
3) Talk to my friends and family to keep up with their lives
4) Take time for myself and read a good book
5) Apply for some stock broker positions so I can help people see the important of good investing
And don't forget this. If you forget to do any of the tasks on your critical six, then you roll those tasks over to the critical six of the next day and make sure you get the tasks you forgot done. That's super important, because in the end, you are accountable for all your actions, and all your success. The Universe / God / Higher Being (whatever word you use) will guide you on the right path if your actions, thoughts, and feelings are in line with the overall big picture and vision.
I hoped that helped.

Thank you both for the comments. Neal, loved your example. That is what I was thinking. Just wasn't sure. Can't wait to get started!

I just ordered HW book which was one of my Critical 6 today. I love HW audiobook but would like to have the book so I can go through the book study guide online...pretty cool. I also have challenges making and following through my critical 6 especially on days I'm working. Thanks Neal for your practical suggestions.

I have traveled the globe studying the thoughts, actions and habits of those who create true wealth in every area of life. You name it, if it affected success or showed any of the five kinds of wealth--financial, relational, mental, physical and spiritual--I studied it.
Here's your chance to ask me your most burning question, ranging from the physical to the spiritual and everything in between. Literally anything goes!
